Ben grew up in Stroud NSW on his family stock horse property. That's where he started riding as a toddler before competing through pony club to shows, campdrafts and rodeos.

Ben now lives in Tamworth NSW where he works as a horse chiropractor, alongside operating a horse breaking and training business. Ben also runs beef cattle on his property and breeds Stock Horses.
