Initially established to provide retraining and rehoming opportunities to standardbredss exiting racing, Raising the Standards has developed into a leading educational resource, providing online programs and support to standardbred owners from all around the world.

Having been a proud member of Team Mitavite since 2010, Raising the Standards, under Founder Nic Tassone, has seen countless INCREDIBLE track to hack transformations, made possible through a quality feeding and rehabilitation program supported via ongoing consultation between Nic the nutrition team at Mitavite.

Some of Raising the Standards’ key accomplishments include retraining the first standardbred to be accepted into Victoria Police’s Mounted Branch, rehoming over a dozen standardbreds to be placed in various RDA centres across the state and retraining many standardbreds who have gone on to achieve great feats under saddle, including State Champion titles in showing, dressage and show jumping and success in the highest levels of HRCAV and PCAV.

Raising the Standards currently supports several hundred standardbred owners from around the globe, via its online programs, to safely and confidently work with their green retired harness racehorses.
